Since 2008, Andrew Ryan has been bringing "an abundance of charm" (Manchester Evening News) to comedy clubs around the UK. The Cork native immediately gets audiences on-side with a likable, bewildered style described as "impossible not to warm to" (Chortle).
Whether as an MC, opening or closing a gig, Andrew always manages to both give a great performance and also leave people wanting more. But it's not just his circuit work that is establishing Andrew as a comedic force to be reckoned with. In 2010 he teamed up with Joe Lycett for An Hour Of Humour - a dual Edinburgh Festival show which garnered packed houses and rave reviews throughout the month, including a 'Must See' award from The Stage. The show proved to be so successful that it has since been performed to similar acclaim around Britain. He will be taking his first solo show to the Edinburgh festival in 2012.
Andrew has also made numerous radio appearances for the BBC and Capital radio. Including a session for the BBC alongside Ardal O'Hanlon, Paul Merton, Adam Hills. With his star clearly in ascendancy, expect to see much more of this emerging comedy talent.
