Hi All,
It's been a while since I updated the news page.
Loads of exctitng things happening in terms of shows this year. In August I will take my first show to The Edinburgh Festival. i have not decided on a name as of yet but the theme of the show is about money and obessions. CKP (Christian Knownles Productions) are producing the show which I am delighted with. I'm hoping to perform in the Guilded Balloon, details of times are being finalised over the next week or so. It's very exciting to be going up but the show is being put together now which is the most important bit!
I'm doing a one hour show at the Leicester Comedy Festival on 17th February at the Cumblin Cookie. This will be my third time at the Crumblin Cookie the first time on my own as my mate Joe Lycett and I performed there the past two years together in our show 'An Hour of Humour'. It will be nice to go back as it's a lovely room run by really nice people.
In 2011 I did some support slots for my friend Justin Moorhouse on his UK tour and had a great time doing them. Justin asked me recently would I do a set at a gig in The Royal Exchange Manchester for a two charities Adventure Farm & Wood Steet Misson. It was a cracking night one of those nights where you really love performing. Justin put together a superb bill of Jason Manford, Danny Mcloughlin, John Bishop & Dave Williams. It was packed out and loads of money was raised for young children.
I went back to my favourite comedy club The International in Dublin in January and it didn't let me down. I don't know what it is about Irish audiences but they really love comedy. I did three nights in Dublin with some great comics and didn't want to leave. I'm heading back again later in the year and if you ever are in Dublin for a weekend pop in there for a show.
So 2012 looks like it's going to be a busy one with gigs and Edinburgh. I will try and keep things updated on the site of live shows every few weeks.
All the best
Andrew
